About the role

  • Product Owner responsible for aligning ICT stakeholders with ICRC’s Global Deployment objectives. Engaging with BPOs and leading Agile delivery for humanitarian operational readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Support operational readiness objectives for the People department
  • Act as the primary interface between Global Deployment & Mobility objectives and ICT stakeholders
  • Engage proactively with Métier’s BPOs to capture their requirements and translate complex operational needs into technical user stories
  • Lead the Agile delivery team by defining, prioritizing, and managing the backlog
  • Ensure product follows architecture and infrastructure guidelines
  • Accountable for achieving milestones agreed with the T&I Product Line Manager
  • Work with BPOs on the definition and automation of permissions for HR teams

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of overall professional experience
  • 3-5 years in a Product Owner or similar Agile role
  • Proven experience in integrating and running technical solutions
  • Mastery of agile development processes
  • Understanding of the 'Duty of Care' and logistical challenges of humanitarian field operations
  • Bachelor's degree in ICT, Business Administration, or HR; Agile Certification is desirable
  • Excellent command of English; French is a strong asset.
