About the role
- Product Owner responsible for aligning ICT stakeholders with ICRC’s Global Deployment objectives. Engaging with BPOs and leading Agile delivery for humanitarian operational readiness.
Responsibilities
- Support operational readiness objectives for the People department
- Act as the primary interface between Global Deployment & Mobility objectives and ICT stakeholders
- Engage proactively with Métier’s BPOs to capture their requirements and translate complex operational needs into technical user stories
- Lead the Agile delivery team by defining, prioritizing, and managing the backlog
- Ensure product follows architecture and infrastructure guidelines
- Accountable for achieving milestones agreed with the T&I Product Line Manager
- Work with BPOs on the definition and automation of permissions for HR teams
Requirements
- 8-10 years of overall professional experience
- 3-5 years in a Product Owner or similar Agile role
- Proven experience in integrating and running technical solutions
- Mastery of agile development processes
- Understanding of the 'Duty of Care' and logistical challenges of humanitarian field operations
- Bachelor's degree in ICT, Business Administration, or HR; Agile Certification is desirable
- Excellent command of English; French is a strong asset.
