- Engineer for municipal heat planning responsible for planning heating supply projects. Developing concepts and solutions for energy supply and monitoring legal compliance.
Responsibilities
- Planning and implementation of heat supply projects in municipal areas
- Developing concepts and solutions for heat supply
- Leading projects to develop climate‑efficient energy and supply concepts for buildings, properties and neighborhoods
- Developing and maintaining relationships with municipalities, including advising and supporting them on climate protection activities as part of the heat transition
- Drafting transformation plans for heat networks and solutions to optimize heat supply
- Monitoring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Preparing profitability calculations and cost–benefit analyses
- Preparing presentations and delivering talks
- Developing practical tools and advisory instruments
Requirements
- Degree in energy engineering, building services engineering or a comparable field
- Professional experience in planning heat generation plants desirable
- Ideally, initial experience implementing heat supply projects (e.g., developing energy, climate protection or district concepts) or experience in municipal heat planning
- Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements
- Team player with a strong commitment and a high degree of self‑initiative
- Proficient in MS Office
- Valid driving license (Class B)
