About the role

  • Technical SEO Manager at Adapt, focusing on SEO consultancy, audits, and AI-driven optimization for enterprise clients. Ensuring technical alignment with latest search trends and ranking strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide weekly ad-hoc technical SEO support to enterprise clients, answering queries, reviewing implementations, and offering strategic recommendations.
  • Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits, analyzing site health, Core Web Vitals, crawlability, indexing, structured data, and other key ranking factors.
  • Support client internal teams with complex website migrations, including domain changes, platform transitions, and site architecture improvements to minimize ranking disruptions.
  • Advise on and implement technical SEO best practices to enhance visibility in AI-driven search results, including AI Overviews, structured data enhancements, and content indexing strategies.
  • Work closely with developers, product teams, and content strategists to implement SEO recommendations efficiently.
  • Use tools like Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, and Log File Analysis to identify and resolve technical SEO issues.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, algorithm updates, and emerging AI-driven search features, ensuring clients’ SEO strategies remain competitive.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on technical SEO experience (agency experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise SEO strategies, including large-scale site architecture, crawl optimization, and JavaScript SEO.
  • Proven experience conducting SEO audits using tools like Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and DeepCrawl.
  • Expertise in website migrations, including redirects, URL structure changes, and risk mitigation.
  • Understanding of AI-driven search trends, such as AI Overviews, structured data for AI indexing, and optimizing for search generative experiences.
  • Familiarity with Google’s Search Generative Experience (SGE) and how AI impacts search rankings.
  • Proficiency in log file analysis and debugging crawlability issues.
  • Strong grasp of Core Web Vitals, page speed optimization, and technical performance improvements.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and structured data markup (Schema.org).
  • Experience collaborating with development teams and CMS platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, and headless CMS.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical SEO insights into actionable recommendations for enterprise stakeholders.
