About the role
- Full Stack Engineer developing scalable web and desktop applications for webAI’s next-gen AI platform. Collaborating across teams to implement advanced features and ensure robust system performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop scalable web and desktop applications using React, Vite, and Electron.
- Architect and optimize real-time communication using WebSockets and MQTT.
- Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines via GitLab with automated testing.
- Write clean, maintainable code across HTML, CSS/SCSS, and TypeScript.
- Develop unit and E2E test coverage using Cypress.
- Lead code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Diagnose and resolve issues across production and development environments.
- Propose and implement improvements in architecture, workflows, and tooling.
- Design complex state management systems using Redux, Zustand, or XState.
- Implement efficient data-handling algorithms for caching, syncing, and real-time updates.
- Provide technical mentorship and contribute to long-term technical strategy.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript development.
- Strong skills with React, Vite, Electron, and modern UI architecture.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS/SCSS, TypeScript.
- Experience with WebSockets, MQTT, and real-time systems.
- Hands-on experience with Cypress and automated testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of Go or Python for backend collaboration (preferred).
- Experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- Proficiency with GitLab CI/CD and DevOps tooling.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and collaborative communication skills.
- Expertise in state management (Redux, Zustand, XState) and performance optimization.
- Experience leading technical initiatives or influencing engineering direction.
