About the role

• DevOps Engineer at Wavestone developing cloud architectures and software solutions in a hybrid work environment. Responsibilities include design, development, and operation of applications.

Responsibilities

• You design, develop and operate complex software solutions and architectures for digitization projects
• You take responsibility for the design, testing and operation of applications in a cloud and DevOps environment
• You are the point of contact for technical decisions and actively contribute to the ongoing development of the technology landscape
• You work on the migration and integration of data sources and front-ends
• You support the team in implementing automation and optimization processes

Requirements

• You have a completed degree (ETH, university or university of applied sciences)
• You have several years of project experience developing with Java, Spring Boot and modern cloud technologies (e.g., CI/CD, OpenShift, Docker, ArgoCD, Tekton)
• You have experience in architecting microservices, databases (relational/NoSQL) and CI/CD pipelines, with experience in larger projects and highly available applications, as well as agile environments (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban)
• You are familiar with agile software development, design patterns and test automation
• You are a team player with strong communication skills and a willingness to take responsibility
• Business-fluent German and English
