About the role

• DevOps Engineer at Gemba designing secure, cloud-native platforms for public-sector organizations. Leading technical decisions and collaborating to solve complex challenges for critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver robust automation, platforms, and CI/CD pipelines for complex systems
• Use Infrastructure as Code and cloud‑native tooling to create secure, scalable environments
• Lead technical reviews, guide engineering decisions, and support fault fixing and maintenance
• Mentor engineers, improve ways of working, and champion continuous improvement and security

Requirements

• Active, or recently active, SC or DV clearance **(essential)**
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (Like AWS) and production environments
• Deep hands‑on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK) and Kubernetes/Docker
• Confidence designing and operating secure CI/CD pipelines, using Git and modern DevOps practices
• Practical experience with databases, APIs, programming/scripting languages, and a range of operating systems
