About the role
- (Senior) Consultant SAP Security managing security for modern SAP infrastructures and cloud platforms. Collaborating with clients for SAP system security strategies and implementations.
Responsibilities
- Design the security architecture of modern SAP landscapes.
- Support securing SAP systems and develop security strategies.
- Design and evaluate SAP security architectures for hybrid system landscapes.
- Analyze and implement security measures for SAP APIs, SAP Gateway, and OData services.
- Perform threat modeling and risk analyses.
- Support SAP projects from the architecture phase through go-live with security requirements.
- Configure security features for SAP and integrate them into IT security environments.
- Advise on regulatory requirements and support audits and compliance reviews.
- Monitor current developments in the area of SAP security.
Requirements
- Professional experience in SAP Security with a focus on SAP S/4HANA architecture, SAP Digital Identity, SAP threat modeling, SAP code security, SAP Cloud & BTP security, or SAP vulnerability management.
- Solid knowledge of securing SAP systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP Gateway, Fiori Launchpad).
- Experience with SAP Cloud Integration Suite (CPI) and SAP Cloud Identity Services (IAS/IPS).
- Practical experience in performing threat modeling, risk analyses, and developing technical SAP infrastructure security concepts.
- Knowledge of API security, OData services, ICF, TLS/SSL, SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and network architectures in the SAP context.
- Experience with middleware technologies such as SAP Process Orchestration (PI/PO), MuleSoft, Talend, or Apache Camel.
- Certifications such as SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP BTP Administration or equivalent credentials in SAP security, cloud platforms, or middleware are a plus.
- Good market overview as well as knowledge of and skills with relevant SAP security tools (e.g., SecurityBridge, XSP, Onapsis, or similar third-party tools).
