About the role

  • IT & Cybersecurity Manager leading IT infrastructure and cybersecurity efforts at knok. Ensuring secure, scalable systems to support the digital transformation of healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the company’s IT infrastructure, networks and systems, ensuring performance, scalability and security
  • Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of IT and cybersecurity policies, procedures and controls
  • Maintain and evolve the ISMS, ensuring alignment with regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g. ISO standards)
  • Identify, assess and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities across the organisation
  • Monitor IT and security performance, defining and tracking relevant KPIs and metrics
  • Act as the main point of contact for cybersecurity topics, both internally and with external stakeholders
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring security and compliance standards are met
  • Oversee incident response processes, ensuring timely and effective resolution of IT and security issues
  • Support and guide teams on IT best practices and cybersecurity awareness
  • Contribute to strategic decisions regarding IT architecture, tools and investments
  • Lead and develop the IT & Cybersecurity team, ensuring clear priorities, strong execution and continuous growth
  • Support hiring, onboarding and performance management of team members
  • Foster a culture of ownership, security awareness and continuous improvement within the team

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or similar
  • Proven experience in IT management and cybersecurity, including team leadership or mentoring responsibilities
  • Proven experience leading end-to-end ISO 27001 certification processes, including implementation, audit and ongoing compliance
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networks and systems
  • Experience with cloud environments and architectures (preferred)
  • Solid knowledge of cybersecurity principles, risk management and compliance frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001)
  • Experience leading or mentoring teams, with the ability to develop and grow others
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Ability to prioritise, structure work and drive execution
  • Ability to communicate technical topics clearly to different stakeholders across the organisation
  • Fluent in Portuguese and proficient in English
