About the role
- SAP ABAP Consultant developing modern SAP solutions within S/4HANA environment for a consulting firm. Collaborating with teams to ensure high-quality project delivery and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the design, analysis, and development of modern SAP solutions within the S/4HANA environment, leveraging technologies such as RAP, CDS, and Fiori Elements.
- Design technical specifications and offer clear technical solutions that fit in the design with the overall architecture strategy and framework for SAP ABAP and S/4HANA
- Ensure adherence to SAP Clean Core principles by designing and implementing solutions that minimize custom code and leverage standard SAP functionalities
- Deliver clean, high-quality implementations that adhere to current standards and best practices in ABAP development
- Collaborate with SAP functional team and business colleagues to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Build professional relationships with clients, management, and team members to ensure the delivery of proposed solutions
Requirements
- University degree in Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Certifications or courses on ABAP for HANA and S/4HANA are a big plus
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP ABAP, SAP FIORI, and ABAP Cloud
- Strong knowledge of CDS views, OData services, ABAP for HANA, S/4HANA, SAP BTP, RAP, SAP UI5/FIORI, app development, and data migration
- Skilled in enhancements, user exits, BAPIs, and integration technologies
- Understanding of SAP Clean Core concepts, with proven experience in delivering solutions that align with SAP’s best practices, would be a plus
- Experience with SAP Build and low-code/no-code platforms to design extensions and workflows that support SAP Clean Core principles would be a plus
- Speak fluent business English and German
- Enjoy occasional travel to the customers.
