About the role

  • SAP Senior IBP Engineer implementing integrated business planning solutions for HARMAN Automotive. Collaborating with stakeholders and agile teams to transform digital supply chain operations internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and prioritize requirements.
  • Translate requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and solution designs.
  • Develop test scenarios and support testing to ensure solutions meet functional and quality expectations.
  • Serve as an embedded member of a Scrum team, supporting developers and testers throughout each sprint.
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring readiness for sprint planning and refinement.
  • Validate that delivered features provide measurable business value and align with the overall product vision.
  • Support development teams during build, testing, deployment, and hyper care phases.
  • Maintain product documentation, workflows, and release notes.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth delivery, adoption, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of total SAP experience, including 5+ years of hands‑on SAP IBP experience
  • Strong experience with SAP IBP modules, particularly Demand, Supply, and Inventory
  • Proficiency in integrating SAP IBP with ECC and/or S/4HANA using CPI‑DS, SDI, or CI‑DS
  • In‑depth understanding of supply chain planning processes, including forecasting, capacity planning, and inventory optimization
  • Ability to configure planning areas, key figures, attributes, time profiles, and master data
  • Hands‑on experience with SAP IBP Excel UI and Fiori Launchpad
  • Strong problem‑solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management capabilities
  • Experience working as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or in a similar role within a technical environment
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and solution designs
  • Experience working with enterprise applications, data flows, and system behaviour.
