About the role

• Fullstack Consultant at Wavestone focusing on critical strategic transformations. Responsible for developing APIs, databases and web interfaces for collaborative projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement existing APIs, databases and backends (Java, Spring Boot, OpenAPI, Kafka, Oracle PL/SQL, PostgreSQL) in a clean, high-performance and API-first manner
• Develop responsive web interfaces using Angular and TypeScript, delivering intuitive user experiences aligned with modern design principles
• Automate deployments and testing pipelines using CI/CD tools such as Gradle, GitLab and Open Shift
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to translate business needs into effective technical solutions
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and engineering excellence

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or a related field; certifications in cloud platforms or DevOps practices are a strong advantage
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in backend and full stack development (Java and Spring Boot), with a strong focus on clean code and automated testing
• Experience with building scalable web applications using Angular and TypeScript
• Proficient in cloud technologies (Azure or AWS), containerization tools and CI/CD pipelines
• You bring a proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with strong customer orientation for both internal and external stakeholders
• Speak fluent business English; knowledge of German is a plus
• Enjoy occasional travel to the customers.
