About the role

  • Social Media Manager managing social media presence for sports events at WEC GmbH. Engaging with audiences through posts, stories, and community interaction during events.

Responsibilities

  • Targeted creation of value-driven posts and stories for Instagram, TikTok and Facebook based on content plans and aligned with project objectives
  • Skilled management of channels and communities for multiple event brands
  • Monitoring and analysis of high-demand hashtags, content and trends across different target groups
  • Planning and execution of influencer and advertising campaigns on Instagram and TikTok
  • Dynamic social media coverage and community interaction during events
  • Preparation of reports and presentations

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or a related field, or completion of an equivalent qualification
  • Initial experience in social media marketing or corporate communications
  • Very good knowledge of Instagram and TikTok
  • Good to very good Microsoft Office skills
  • Passion for storytelling and sports events, and a strong sense for brand communication
  • Reliability, creativity, verbal fluency, motivation and a hands-on mentality
  • Fluent German and very good English skills
