About the role

  • Account Manager in technology for leading security solutions company wabcon. Engaging in client presentations and expanding business relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Present and explain the service portfolio during meetings and at industry events such as trade shows and exhibitions
  • Actively acquire new business partners and develop existing business relationships, including managing tenders
  • Advise on concepts and solutions in the areas of security and building management systems, video surveillance, intrusion detection, perimeter protection, access control and IT security networks
  • Prepare proposals and presentation materials and maintain relevant data in CRM systems
  • Follow up on inquiries and offers and prepare and process contractual documents in compliance with applicable regulations
  • Support project planning, implementation of technical solutions and participate in commissioning and acceptance processes

Requirements

  • Technical or commercial qualification (vocational training or degree)
  • Strong motivation to work with external partners
  • Professional experience in sales of complex solutions or systems, preferably in technically demanding industries
  • Solid knowledge of network technology and security-related systems, ideally with a focus on surveillance technologies and access control
  • Strong negotiation skills, team orientation and a reliable, service-oriented working style
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Independent, structured and goal-oriented working style with initiative
  • Confident use of common office applications and customer management (CRM) systems
  • Business-fluent German and English
  • Driver’s license (Class B) and willingness to undertake occasional business travel
