About the role
- Data Architect designing central data architecture and ensuring regulatory compliance for VR Smart Finanz. Connecting data architecture, regulatory requirements, and modern data models effectively.
Responsibilities
- Align data architecture, regulatory requirements, and modern data models
- Actively shape the company’s central data architecture
- Coordinate and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in the context of risk data aggregation
- Define binding standards for the enterprise-wide data architecture and the business data model
- Work closely with Business Data Owners to steer the development of related standards across the organization and drive their implementation
Requirements
- Completed university degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or Economics
- Initial practical experience in a banking environment
- Knowledge of BCBS239
- Understanding of its application to risk and data management processes within a bank
- Knowledge of data architecture, data quality, and data governance to ensure BCBS239 principles
- Experience with SAS, Oracle, and/or Tableau
- Experience in risk management, particularly in implementing regulatory requirements
