About the role

  • HR Legal Counsel supporting HR Ops team with legal questions regarding hiring and employment. Reviewing documentation and leading discussions for performance management and offboarding.

Responsibilities

  • Support the HR Ops team on a daily basis on their legal questions relating to hiring, onboarding, immigration processes, employment relationships, management of performance, offboarding
  • Review HR legal documentation including employment contract, amendments, termination paperwork, etc.
  • Take the lead on discussions or negotiations that may have legal implications
  • Support VP HR in management of collective labor relations with employee representatives

Requirements

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in Legal HR
  • You have solid legal skills and reasoning
  • You are autonomous, organized and structured
  • You demonstrate adaptability, reactivity and pragmatism
  • You have outstanding verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills in French and English
  • You want to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
