About the role
- HR Legal Counsel supporting HR Ops team with legal questions regarding hiring and employment. Reviewing documentation and leading discussions for performance management and offboarding.
Responsibilities
- Support the HR Ops team on a daily basis on their legal questions relating to hiring, onboarding, immigration processes, employment relationships, management of performance, offboarding
- Review HR legal documentation including employment contract, amendments, termination paperwork, etc.
- Take the lead on discussions or negotiations that may have legal implications
- Support VP HR in management of collective labor relations with employee representatives
Requirements
- You have at least 5 years of experience in Legal HR
- You have solid legal skills and reasoning
- You are autonomous, organized and structured
- You demonstrate adaptability, reactivity and pragmatism
- You have outstanding verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills in French and English
- You want to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
