You are an integral part of our Accounting Parent team and support the management of the interface to the IT department, which maintains the IT systems (S/4HANA, Quantum, etc.).
Actively participate in the Finance Demand Process Team to streamline and improve processes for multiple globally operating group companies on our S/4HANA system.
Serve as the interface to the IT department for defining accounting-specific requirements.
Point of contact for interfaces to other SAP and non-SAP systems.
Point of contact for stakeholders in the group companies (Germany, Sweden, USA).
Serve as SAP Key User for FI/CO.
Support improvements to SAP S/4HANA Finance.
Develop and document existing processes and systems.
Monitor specialized accounting topics and projects.
Implement / handle requirements related to control measures.
Maintain the central chart of accounts and reporting tool for Volkswagen AG.
Participate in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Requirements
Degree in economics/business administration or a completed commercial apprenticeship with further training as an accountant.
Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting.
Knowledge of accounting according to IFRS and HGB.
Very good knowledge of SAP S/4HANA FI/CO.
Strong IT affinity and the ability to keep up with technological advances.
High level of entrepreneurial thinking and action as well as problem-solving skills.
Independent working style, communication skills, and reliability.
Fluent German and English language skills, written and spoken.
