About the role

  • Accounting Specialist responsible for managing ongoing accounting tasks and financial processes. Working in a team-focused environment with opportunities for professional development in Frankfurt.

Responsibilities

  • Ongoing accounting (general ledger / accounts receivable / accounts payable)
  • Balance and account reconciliations for the general and sub-ledgers
  • Domestic and international payment transactions
  • Review and preparation of VAT returns (preliminary VAT filings)
  • Fixed asset accounting
  • Active participation in month-end and year-end closings

Requirements

  • Bilanzbuchhalter certification (or equivalent qualification)
  • Relevant professional experience
  • Good knowledge of the MS Office suite (especially Excel)
  • SAP experience is a plus
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Team-oriented working style
