About the role

  • IT Support Specialist providing first-level support for IT issues both remotely and on-site at Vogelsang GmbH. Involves problem analysis, ticket documentation, and collaboration with the IT team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist users with everyday IT questions remotely and on-site
  • Receive and handle support requests via phone, e‑mail and ticketing system
  • Analyse, classify and resolve incidents at the first‑level support
  • Handle support cases independently or in close cooperation with the IT team at the main site
  • Document all support cases thoroughly in the ticketing system
  • Help users with questions about standard software, hardware and common workplace devices (e.g., printers, networks, workstation PCs)
  • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of internal IT support processes

Requirements

  • Completed training as a Technical Assistant for Computer Science, IT Systems Management, IT Business Administration or a comparable qualification — career changers with strong IT skills are welcome
  • Initial experience in IT support, user helpdesk, service desk or IT customer support
  • Confident user of Windows operating systems and the Microsoft Office suite
  • Basic hardware knowledge (PCs, notebooks, printers) and general understanding of IT infrastructures
  • Strong service and customer orientation, good communication skills and enjoyment in working with end users
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Structured, solution‑oriented working style and willingness to learn new topics
