About the role

• Architect Specialist leading Blockchain and DID/VC initiatives from discovery to production at Vivo. Transforming digital identity and ensuring robust solutions in technology.

Responsibilities

• As an Architecture Specialist, you will have the following responsibilities and duties:
• Lead technical Blockchain + DID/VC initiatives end-to-end, from discovery to design, implementation and production support.
• Define, develop and institutionalize standards, specifications and reference architectures for decentralized identity, smart contracts and the use of blockchain as a trust/registry layer.
• Define, develop and test data load flows (ETL).
• Serve as a technical reference for critical decisions: platform selection, network governance, trust model, interoperability, performance, costs and architectural evolution.
• Design and develop solutions in accordance with LGPD (Brazil's General Data Protection Law), interacting with stakeholders and ensuring rules are applied across all specifications.
• Design, develop and evolve complete DID/VC flows, integrations with wallets/agents/SDKs and supporting components (resolution, status, auditing and traceability), considering operation at scale.
• Develop integrations with Certificate Issuers.
• Define, develop and govern engineering standards for smart contracts (when applicable): design best practices, review, testing, security, deployment and versioning.
• Lead deployment and operations strategy: topology, nodes, middleware services, APIs, environment automation, hardening and observability.
• Define a secrets and key protection strategy for the ecosystem (Vault/Secret Managers, KMS/HSM when applicable), including policies, rotation and auditing.
• Mentor, enable and technically lead analysts and consultants, standardizing practices and unblocking complex deliveries.
• Define, develop and document integrations with HSM.

Requirements

• We expect you to have the following qualifications:
• Advanced experience in software architecture and engineering with a strong execution bias (hands-on) in complex environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related Technology fields.
• Knowledge of cryptographic algorithms (ability to make decisions that balance security and performance).
• Knowledge of design and category definitions according to TOGAF.
• Mandatory, proven experience with DID/VC and Decentralized Identity, including architecture, integrations and production operation.
• Mandatory, proven experience with blockchain in an enterprise environment, including EVM platforms (e.g., Ethereum/Polygon) and/or permissioned stacks (e.g., Fabric/Besu/Quorum), as well as middleware and indexing/query capabilities.
• Experience with frameworks supporting DLT development (Hyperledger suite).
• Mastery of DID/VC ecosystem standards and specifications and of smart contracts, with the ability to translate them into guides, components and engineering practices.
• Experience with object-oriented languages such as Java, Kotlin or C#.
• Strong experience with Spring and/or Quarkus and integration patterns (APIs, events, messaging).
• Solid experience in applied security (signatures, keys, secrets, hardening, observability and incident response) and engineering practices (CI/CD and testing).
• Nice to have:
• Experience with tokenization/digital assets, custody and/or integrations with financial ecosystems.
• Experience working in Digital Security areas or companies with security products.
• Experience in regulated environments with auditability, traceability and multi-organization governance.
• Ability to run workshops and produce clear technical materials (whiteboards, reference flows and documentation).
• Security certifications: CISSP, CEH, CCSP or equivalents.
