About the role

Responsibilities
- You are primarily responsible for the design, configuration and 3rd-level operation of broadband networks
- You handle the expansion and modification of the redundant network architecture
- You take care of the installation, configuration and commissioning of LAN and WAN solutions
- You drive the automation of network element configurations
- You are responsible for creating and adapting network management tools
- You are involved in the deployment and operation of internal servers
- You rotate on-call duty with your colleagues
Requirements
- You have completed vocational training as an IT specialist in system integration, a comparable qualification, or a degree in (business) computer science
- You have experience in routing, switching and operating complex network infrastructures
- Ideally, you have knowledge of network protocols such as Ethernet, IPv4, IPv6, IS-IS, BGP, MPLS, PPP, L2TP, RADIUS
- You are familiar with network equipment from Cisco, Juniper and Nokia
- Ideally, you bring experience in the network automation domain
- You may already have initial experience with scripting languages (e.g. bash, Perl, Python)
- You have strong knowledge and practical experience with UNIX/Linux operating systems
- You have a proactive and responsible working style
- Very good German language skills, both written and spoken, complete your profile
