About the role
- Senior BI Analyst supporting data analysis and report visuals for strategic decision-making at a digital marketing agency in Brazil.
Responsibilities
- Collect and Process Data: Extract data from various sources (databases, APIs, files, etc.), ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Analyze and Interpret Data: Perform in-depth analyses to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Build and Maintain Dashboards: Contribute to the team that develops and manages interactive dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau). Create metric maps and translate business requirements.
- Communicate Insights: Present analysis results clearly and concisely to stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
- Support Data Strategy: Collaborate with other teams to understand their needs and deliver data solutions that support business objectives.
- Model and Transform Data: Design, build, and optimize efficient data pipelines and models for complex analyses, with support from a robust data team, platforms, and tagging.
Requirements
- Preferred experience: In Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, or a similar area.
- Advanced SQL: Mastery of complex SQL queries for extracting, manipulating, and analyzing data.
- Visualization Tools: Hands-on experience and proficiency in BI tools such as Looker Studio, Power BI, or Tableau.
- ETL Knowledge: Understanding of ETL processes (Extract, Transform, Load) and experience building data workflows.
- Programming Language: Proficiency in at least one programming language for data analysis, such as Python or R.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills, logical reasoning, and attention to detail.
