Responsibilities
Working alongside the infrastructure administrator in a continuity-of-service (paired) arrangement, you are responsible for ensuring the proper operation and evolution of the systems and network infrastructure, notably: VMware vSphere; servers, storage, backups; LAN/WAN networks, security, monitoring.
You will have time to lead and deliver major technical cybersecurity projects (build).
Standardize and document the infrastructure: produce documentation (DAT, operations manual, procedures); participate in structuring the support function ("shift-back" from admin to support; industrialization).
Be proactive, anticipate, automate, and improve the resilience of the information system.
Contribute to MCO (operations & maintenance) on an ad hoc basis to maintain an operational connection with the information system, while prioritizing infrastructure evolution and reliability; in particular, provide expertise to the support/helpdesk for complex tickets.
Requirements
Proven experience in systems and network engineering/administration.
Strong interest or skills in cybersecurity, with a desire to develop and structure this area.
Ability to document, standardize and organize.
Team spirit, autonomy, and the ability to take a step back on technical issues.
Primarily focused on build activities, with the capacity to intervene occasionally in MCO management (technical escalation; temporary/operational continuity).
Rigorous, methodical, with strong analytical skills.
Able to explain concepts clearly, team player, service-oriented.
IT education: Bac+4 or engineering degree with a minimum of 6 years' experience in a similar position.
