Responsibilities
A Power System Engineer is responsible for the implementation of advanced power systems applications.
The Power system applications implementation include software configuration & testing, Application integration and tuning of the power system.
Tasks include Application tuning and results analysis, tasks planning, physical progress monitoring, risks identification and mitigation.
Acts as technical focal point at site for implementation, tuning and maintenance of software for power system applications.
Ensures quality assurance standards and procedures are followed in all aspects of application tuning.
Plans the implementation tasks, monitor progresses and costs, evaluates CTC for his assigned power system applications.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Power Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or another engineering discipline with a strong electrotechnical foundation.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in the power systems domain, or a degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 6 months of experience using any AEMS software.
Having programming skills in C++, Java or other related language is good but not mandatory
Strong understanding of Machine Learning algorithms such as regression, ANN, etc.
Good understanding of WAMS concepts
Good understanding of database operation.
The candidate must be registered with Saudi engineering council.
