About the role

• Software architect developing ERP solutions using Microsoft Business Central. Collaborating with product management and Scrum team to enhance system architecture and stability.

Responsibilities

• You develop modern ERP solutions based on Microsoft Business Central and ensure the architecture remains stable, maintainable and performant
• You work closely with product management, evaluate requirements and find the right balance between rapid feature delivery and a clean codebase
• You think in data models and processes and address root causes rather than symptoms — with well-considered IT concepts
• You accompany the full lifecycle: from the initial idea through refactoring to quality assurance
• You create clarity through clear documentation and help the team consistently implement architectural standards
• You actively contribute to our Scrum team, make technical decisions and help shape the future of our ERP system

Requirements

• You have an IT degree, completed training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) or a comparable qualification, and experience designing complex systems
• You have solid programming skills — ideally with Microsoft Business Central, ERP logic and relational databases
• You can structure complex requirements clearly and keep long-term system health in mind even in dynamic situations
• You communicate openly within the team and can convincingly present technical decisions to various stakeholders
• You work in a structured, solution-oriented manner and know when perfect architecture is necessary and when pragmatic solutions are appropriate
• You communicate confidently in German and English — both in verbal exchanges and in documentation
