About the role
- Tech Leader overseeing IT Operations at Asaas, ensuring stability and performance of technology platforms. Managing project execution and collaborating with security teams.
Responsibilities
- Platform and Cloud Infrastructure Management: Ensure the stability, security and performance of our technology ecosystem.
- Strategic Administration: Manage and optimize our SaaS and security platforms, such as Cloudflare (ZTNA) and Zendesk, handling integrations, configurations and access policies.
- Proactive Monitoring: Continuously monitor the health of our applications and cloud networks to detect and resolve issues before they impact the business.
- Vendor and Service Management: Serve as the technical focal point with vendors, ensuring the quality of contracted services and leading problem resolution.
- Process Automation and Innovation: Drive efficiency by leveraging technology to optimize our operations.
- Automation Development: Create and maintain scripts and API integrations to automate operational routines and other repetitive tasks.
- AIOps Implementation: Research, test and deploy AI tools to improve operational data analysis, predict failures, automate incident responses and enhance routines.
- Evaluation of New Technologies: Conduct proofs of concept (PoCs) and technical evaluations of new platforms to keep the company at the technological forefront.
- Project Leadership: Plan and execute migrations and deployments of new systems and platforms, ensuring project success from start to finish.
- Security Collaboration: Work in partnership with the Information Security team to implement technical controls and participate directly in security incident response.
- Technical Documentation: Create and maintain documentation of architectures, processes and knowledge bases (KB), ensuring standardization and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Infrastructure and Operations Experience: Previous experience in roles such as Infrastructure Analyst, Systems Administrator and/or IT Operations.
- Operating Systems Experience: Knowledge of Windows Server, Linux and/or Linux Server.
- Cloud Networking and Security Experience: Practical knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, VPNs and security concepts such as Firewalls and WAFs; familiarity with ZTNA (Zero Trust Network Access) and Cloudflare.
- Integrations and Automation Experience: Ability to consume and integrate systems via APIs and a genuine interest in automation and new technologies (AIOps).
- Agile Methodologies Experience: Experience with Scrum and/or Kanban for managing IT projects.
- SaaS Platform Experience: Administration of complex platforms like Zendesk, including configuration of flows, integrations and security.
- Analysis and Troubleshooting Skills: Analytical ability to identify root causes of issues involving multiple systems and propose effective solutions.
- Leadership Experience: Previous (direct or indirect) experience leading teams, developing people, giving feedback, mediating conflicts and maintaining engagement, acting as a technical and behavioral role model.
- Hands-on Profile: Independent, able to act autonomously to make decisions and identify improvement opportunities without micromanagement.
- Documentation Experience: Practice in documenting processes clearly.
- Residence in Joinville, SC or Surrounding Area: Availability to work in a hybrid model.
