About the role

  • Hardware Developer designing high-end wearable devices and collaborating with cross-functional teams for smart glasses development. Engage in hardware architecture and contribute to manufacturing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Define the high-level hardware architecture and select identify possible key components
  • Design and develop schematics and layouts for high-end wearable devices
  • Collaborate closely with a cross-functional team, including mechanics, firmware developers, and optics
  • Contribute to the design-for-manufacturing strategy for complex, PCB-integrated systems embedded in wearable glasses
  • Hardware bring-up and test devices development

Requirements

  • Completed studies or vocational training (e.g., HTL) in electrical engineering, embedded systems, or a related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of PCB manufacturing and assembly processes
  • Proven experience in HDI electronic circuit development and EMC-compliant design
  • Experience in schematic design and component selection
  • Knowledge of firmware and driver programming
  • Fluent in English (German is a plus)
