Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and manage an effective communications and marketing strategy
Ensure key audiences understand the agency’s mission, impact, and effectiveness
Manage the organization’s website, newsletters, media relations, social media platforms
Oversee the creation of agency advertisements and maintain public-facing materials
Write and distribute press releases and respond to media inquiries
Collaborate with staff for fundraising campaigns and community relations activities
Manage the communications and marketing budget and agency’s spokesperson training program
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communications, or a related field
Minimum of four years of related experience
Excellent writing, communication, organizational, leadership, and project management skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience managing communications projects and budgets
Experience with email marketing platforms such as Constant Contact or similar systems
Proficiency with social media platforms, including Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, and LinkedIn
Photography and/or videography skills preferred
Website management experience required, including WordPress; basic HTML knowledge preferred
Experience with design and content tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software.
