About the role

• Head of Process Engineering leading and optimizing processes at Actemium, an engineering firm in Switzerland. Overseeing project management while collaborating with teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Set up and lead the Process Engineering department
• Provide technical and disciplinary leadership for the team
• Plan, optimize and further develop process engineering and internal processes
• Technical design and implementation of equipment and plants — from concept phase to commissioning
• Project management including budget and schedule responsibility
• Provide technical customer consulting and support during the acquisition process
• Act as the interface to internal departments and external partners

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering or Chemical Engineering
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar environment, plus several years of project management experience
• Confident handling of technical regulations and good knowledge of GMP environments
• Leadership personality with a hands-on mentality and strong interpersonal skills
• Consulting skills and professional communication in customer-facing situations
• Excellent German language skills (spoken and written) and business-fluent English
