About the role

  • Digital Engagement and Events worker for Lancashire County Council supporting care leavers and children in care. Creating social media content, planning events, and gathering feedback.

Responsibilities

  • Create fun and engaging posts, stories, and reels for FYP
  • Help plan and attend events for care leavers and children in care
  • Gather feedback and share the voices of young people
  • Represent Lancashire at national forums and bring back fresh ideas
  • Work with social workers, personal advisers, and other care-experienced young people
  • Promote the Care Leavers Local Offer and young people’s rights and Entitlements

Requirements

  • You must be a care leaver who has been looked after by Lancashire County Council.
  • The post you are applying for is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013).
  • If successful you will be required to apply to the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) for a 'disclosure'.
