About the role
- Senior Project Controller ensuring accurate project reporting and supporting governance in large-scale international projects. Collaborating with project management and senior leadership at G+D Currency Technology.
Responsibilities
- Ensure transparent, accurate and timely project reporting.
- Act as a strategic business partner to project management and senior leadership.
- Convert complex project data into meaningful insights.
- Strengthen governance and support effective steering of large international projects.
- Take responsibility for financial transparency, reporting governance, scenario analysis and decision support.
Requirements
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
- 7–10+ years' experience in project controlling or commercial management of international large-scale projects, ideally in plant engineering or mechanical engineering.
- Strong expertise in project reporting, financial controlling, forecasting and governance.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2, Agile/Hybrid).
- Excellent knowledge of SAP, MS Office (especially Excel) and project management tools (e.g., MS Project).
- Experience with reporting/BI tools (e.g., Power BI) is an advantage.
- Excellent German and English skills; French is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present confidently at executive level.
- Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and a methodical, structured working style.
- Ability to constructively challenge data and assumptions.
- High integrity, reliability and strong stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
