About the role

  • Head of Security for G+D Group Services defining and implementing security strategies. Collaborating on integrated security risk management and incident management.

Responsibilities

  • Define local and implement the global security strategy in line with external and internal requirements, in close collaboration with the relevant business units and Corporate Security teams.
  • Take ownership of integrated security risk management and reporting in accordance with corporate policies.
  • Manage local security incidents, emergencies and crisis situations.
  • Conduct local internal security audits, coordinate external audits, and lead corrective action mitigation measures.
  • Promote information sharing on significant threats, vulnerabilities and risks within G+D Group Services (GS).
  • Approve GS policies, security-related directives and processes that are aligned with the corporate security strategy.
  • Manage major security-related incidents, emergencies and crisis situations.
  • Act as the point of contact for GS IT to advise on global projects regarding architecture and policy compliance.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Security/Information Security or a related field.
  • Several years of professional experience in security roles.
  • Experience with internal investigations and incident management.
  • Experience in physical security (access control/badge systems, video surveillance, etc.) and personal security (handling certificates of conduct, background checks during contracting, etc.).
  • Relevant certifications in information security management are mandatory (e.g., CISSP, ISO 2700x).
  • Knowledge of and hands-on experience with relevant standards and frameworks, e.g., ISO 27xxx, Common Criteria, PCI-CPP and GSMA SAS guidelines, NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
  • Ability to communicate security issues appropriately to different audiences.
  • Solid knowledge of risk management processes.
  • Ability to develop and defend technical recommendations and budget plans.
  • Strong knowledge of key ITIL process standards.
  • IT and security architecture expertise.
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
