Head of Security for G+D Group Services defining and implementing security strategies. Collaborating on integrated security risk management and incident management.
Responsibilities
Define local and implement the global security strategy in line with external and internal requirements, in close collaboration with the relevant business units and Corporate Security teams.
Take ownership of integrated security risk management and reporting in accordance with corporate policies.
Manage local security incidents, emergencies and crisis situations.
Conduct local internal security audits, coordinate external audits, and lead corrective action mitigation measures.
Promote information sharing on significant threats, vulnerabilities and risks within G+D Group Services (GS).
Approve GS policies, security-related directives and processes that are aligned with the corporate security strategy.
Manage major security-related incidents, emergencies and crisis situations.
Act as the point of contact for GS IT to advise on global projects regarding architecture and policy compliance.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Security/Information Security or a related field.
Several years of professional experience in security roles.
Experience with internal investigations and incident management.
Experience in physical security (access control/badge systems, video surveillance, etc.) and personal security (handling certificates of conduct, background checks during contracting, etc.).
Relevant certifications in information security management are mandatory (e.g., CISSP, ISO 2700x).
Knowledge of and hands-on experience with relevant standards and frameworks, e.g., ISO 27xxx, Common Criteria, PCI-CPP and GSMA SAS guidelines, NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
Ability to communicate security issues appropriately to different audiences.
Solid knowledge of risk management processes.
Ability to develop and defend technical recommendations and budget plans.
Strong knowledge of key ITIL process standards.
IT and security architecture expertise.
Excellent written and spoken German and English.
Willingness to travel.
Strong communication and teamwork skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
