About the role
- Project Supplier Quality Engineer responsible for supplier performance and compliance in electronic component manufacturing. Collaborating with internal teams and managing quality assurance throughout the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for supplier performance
- Oversee supplier quality activities during development
- Ensure the quality of purchased parts
- Monitor overall quality performance and initiate improvement activities
- Participate in monthly supplier ratings
- Develop the audit plan for suppliers
- Conduct audits and follow up on action plans
- Participate in coordination between the project team and the supplier
- Provide support and carry out applicable activities during supplier changes
Requirements
- Hold an engineering degree or a master's degree with a specialization in electronics
- Minimum of 3 years' professional experience in a similar position
- Preferably experience in the automotive industry
- Skills in quality, methods, project management, and industrialization in electronics and automotive sectors
- Basic knowledge of semiconductor technology and manufacturing
- Use of quality tools and problem-solving methodology
- Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability in a multidisciplinary environment
- Fluent English
- Occasional travel required, in France and abroad
