About the role

  • QA/QC Data Analyst ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and reliability for Oregon Public Defense Commission's strategic contracting. Collaborating with teams for quality assurance across various programs.

Responsibilities

  • help ensure the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of the data that drives OPDC’s strategic contracting, policy development, and legislative advocacy efforts
  • focus on quality assurance and quality control for all data received and entered into agency databases
  • monitor data entry, follow up with other sections to correct errors or incomplete information, and track progress to completion
  • support all program areas, providing analysis that guides agency decision-making
  • lead data-sharing efforts across state agencies, courts, and partner organizations to improve equitable outcomes for vulnerable Oregonians

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science, or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills
  • two (2) years of professional-level evaluative, analytical, and planning work
  • Any combination of experience and education equivalent to five (5) years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skills for the classification
