About the role
- Senior Data Engineer developing scalable data pipelines at Globo, supporting high-quality data-driven decisions and AI initiatives. Ensuring performance and reliability of data infrastructure and collaborating with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain data ingestion, transformation, and provisioning pipelines.
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of data solutions.
- Work with large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
- Participate in data modeling and in defining architectures for analytical and AI solutions.
- Support AI initiatives by preparing, versioning, and making data available for ML models and AI agents.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, business teams, and technical squads to build data products and intelligent solutions.
Requirements
- Experience developing data pipelines (ETL/ELT) in cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience with tools from the GCP ecosystem.
- Strong SQL and Python skills.
- Experience with version control (Git) and agile methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD applied to data pipelines and with Terraform.
- Knowledge of data security, governance, and quality best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with layered data architectures and integration with BI tools (e.g., Looker).
- Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and/or AI agents, particularly supporting data pipelines, feature engineering, model consumption, and LLM-based solutions.
