About the role
- Case Manager providing support for accident insurance clients. Coordinating complex insurance cases and assisting in rehabilitation for injured individuals in the Bern region.
Responsibilities
- Visit, advise, and support seriously injured individuals and our clients within the framework of accident insurance under the UVG
- Coordinate complex insurance cases that require managing the vocational and social reintegration of the injured person
- Conduct status meetings and assessments with insured persons and clients on site
- Maintain proactive contact with the various stakeholders (insured persons, employers, physicians, IV [Swiss disability insurance], etc.) and coordinate measures aimed at achieving a win‑win outcome for all parties
- Collaborate with external partners in the implementation of reintegration measures
- Negotiate with lawyers, companies, insured persons and/or insurers
- Conduct visits related to pension reviews and general UVG assessments
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in accident insurance or proven experience in personal/social insurance
- Completed legal training and/or Federal Specialist Certificate in Insurance (eidgenössischer Fachausweis) with broad legal knowledge
- Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Case Management is an advantage
- German as a native language; knowledge of a second Swiss national language is an advantage
- Proficiency with common IT tools (MS Office)
