About the role
- Business Analyst specializing in Financial Crime working with Vanguard’s Corporate Change team. Leading requirements and solutions for enhancing Financial Crime oversight procedures.
Responsibilities
- Working collaboratively with the project manager to support them with analysis, requirements documentation, current state / future state planning, risk management, delivery assurance and issue resolution
- Identify and scope the data sources and paths between our third-party platform provider, other third parties and internal systems
- Work with internal and third-party teams to produce required documentation to move projects towards completion
- Find and propose creative ways to solve problems and work closely with internal and external teams to evaluate business opportunities, documenting requirements and areas for improvement
- Align with the project manager to be an advocate for change, by clearly articulating the benefits and promoting acceptance, across functional team members and leadership teams, of ‘to-be’ models and frameworks
- Be able to estimate effort for requirement elicitation and analysis across the project
- Ensures that all deliverables align to the business objective and align with IT strategies and methodologies
- Define and document the requirements for system integrations and assist in implementing solutions
- Participate in other projects and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Business Analyst with Financial Crime experience (e.g. AML, KYC, fraud, sanctions etc.) across asset management and/or financial services firms
- Experience to include requirements gathering, gap analysis, as-is / to-be process mapping, requirements definition etc.
- 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry, ideally with retail investment platforms experience
- Excellent written, visual, and verbal communications skills, able to influence and negotiate whilst showing business judgment and work ethic
- Diligence with strong organisational, interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Ability to deliver multiple concurrent projects and manage competing priorities
