About the role

• Process and Project Manager focused on SAP foreign trade, shipping and transport for Vanderlande Logistics in Germany. Responsibilities include process optimization and SAP system management.

Responsibilities

• Definition, implementation and continuous improvement of business processes in the areas of foreign trade, shipping and transport and their representation in the ERP system
• Optimization of the tools and supporting methods used; development of guidelines and policies in cooperation with the specialist departments
• Support and further development of the SAP system in the areas of Foreign Trade, Shipping and Transport
• Implementation of adjustments (customizing and, if necessary, development) in the SAP modules SD, MM and LE
• Customer-side customizing in the AEB software in the modules Trade Compliance Management, Customs Management and Monitoring & Alerting
• Ensuring stable IT application operations for the applications under your responsibility and their further development together with internal and external service providers
• Participation in SAP projects; supporting the business units in project preparation and execution
• Involvement in the assessment, execution and implementation of change requests within projects and SAP ERP application operations
• Contribution to the creation of system and application documentation
• Technical and conceptual consulting of the business units on the IT implementation of requirements

Requirements

• Degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration or a comparable qualification
• Experience in the tasks described above and knowledge of the specific requirements of the mechanical engineering sector
• Expert knowledge in implementing efficient processes
• Solid knowledge of the mentioned SAP modules (including customizing) and understanding of the interfaces to adjacent modules
• Experience with AEB software in the above modules and its customizing is an advantage
• Knowledge and experience in SD/LE processes (order processing, delivery, packing, billing, export control, customs, Intrastat, …)
• Understanding of the underlying data model and data sources
• Confident and routine use of common MS Office applications
• Strong analytical, goal-oriented and strategic thinking, and a high degree of self-motivation combined with flexibility in handling complex tasks
• High resilience, willingness to travel and strong personal performance standards
• High communication skills combined with persistence and a results-oriented approach
• Negotiation-level (business-fluent) English, spoken and written, complete your profile.
