About the role

Responsibilities
- Define, implement and continuously improve business processes in the areas of foreign trade, shipping and transportation, and their mapping in the ERP system
- Optimize tools and supporting methods; develop standards and guidelines in cooperation with the business departments
- Support and further develop the SAP system in the areas of foreign trade, shipping and transportation
- Carry out adjustments (customizing and, if required, development) in the SAP modules SD, MM and LE
- Customer-side customizing in AEB software for the modules Trade Compliance Management, Customs Management and Monitoring & Alerting
- Ensure stable IT application operations for the supported applications and drive their further development with internal and external service providers
- Participate in SAP projects; support business units in project preparation and execution
- Contribute to the evaluation, implementation and execution of change requests within projects and SAP ERP application operations
- Assist in creating system and application documentation
- Provide technical and conceptual consulting to business units on the IT implementation of requirements
Requirements
- University degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration/Economics or a comparable qualification
- Experience in the tasks listed above and familiarity with the specific requirements of the mechanical engineering industry
- Expert knowledge in implementing efficient processes
- Solid knowledge of the specified SAP modules (including customizing) and understanding of interfaces to adjacent modules
- Knowledge and experience in SD/LE processes (order processing, delivery, packing, billing/invoicing, export control, customs, Intrastat)
- Understanding of the underlying data model and data sources
- Confident and experienced use of common MS Office applications
- Strong analytical, goal-oriented and strategic thinking, high level of self-motivation and flexibility when handling complex tasks
- High resilience, willingness to travel and high personal standards for success
- Strong communication skills combined with persistence and results orientation
- Business-fluent English skills, both written and spoken, complete your profile
