About the role
- Process and project manager for SAP foreign trade, shipping, and transport solutions in an airport logistics company. Working with SAP systems and processes in an international team environment.
Responsibilities
- Define, implement and continuously improve business processes in the areas of foreign trade, shipping and transport and ensure their mapping in the ERP system
- Optimize the tools and supporting methods used; develop guidelines and policies in cooperation with the specialist departments
- Support and further development of the SAP system in the areas of Foreign Trade, Shipping and Transport
- Implement adjustments (customizing and, if necessary, development) in the SAP modules SD, MM and LE
- Customer-side customizing in the AEB software in the modules Trade Compliance Management, Customs Management and Monitoring & Alerting
- Ensure stable IT application operations for the applications under responsibility and drive their further development together with internal and external service providers
- Participate in SAP projects; support the business units in project preparation and execution
- Contribute to the assessment, execution and implementation of change requests within projects and the SAP ERP application operations
- Support the creation of system and application documentation
- Provide subject-matter and conceptual advice to the business units on the IT-technical implementation of requirements
Requirements
- Completed degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration or equivalent qualification
- Practical experience in the tasks outlined above and knowledge of the specific requirements of the mechanical engineering sector
- Expert knowledge in implementing efficient processes
- Solid knowledge of the mentioned SAP modules (including customizing) and understanding of the interfaces to adjacent modules
- Knowledge of AEB software in the mentioned modules and experience with its customizing is an advantage
- Knowledge and experience with SD/LE processes (order processing, delivery, packing, billing, export control, customs, Intrastat, etc.)
- Understanding of the underlying data model and data sources
- Confident and routine use of standard MS Office applications
- Strong analytical, goal-oriented and strategic thinking skills and a high degree of self-motivation, combined with flexibility when handling complex tasks
- High resilience, willingness to travel and high personal standards for achieving results
- Excellent communication skills combined with persistence and result orientation
- Business fluent English skills, both written and spoken, complete your profile.
