About the role

  • Leading the development of service engineering for PEC Global Engineering to enhance agility and flexibility. Focusing on customer-centric approaches and lifecycle management across all disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and further develop service engineering across all disciplines
  • Secure that the service engineering teams are closely connected to Area sales planning and execution
  • Serve as the central point of contact for Engineering for Service initiatives, providing hyper care during the transition to the new operational model
  • Develop and implement engineering strategies in line with PEC Service business objectives focusing on lifecycle management
  • Coordinate with regional and functional teams to ensure immediate support during the sales phase and throughout the customer journey
  • Drive smart resource allocation and harmonize operational practices across global teams
  • Foster a customer-focused mindset in all engineering decisions, deepening customer and technology understanding
  • Promote knowledge sharing and lessons learned routines to improve pricing management and profitability
  • Ensure lifecycle thinking is embedded in all engineering activities, from project planning to execution and after-sales support
  • Unlock business potential by improving the quality and accessibility of installed base data
  • Support the development of E-2-E Engineering processes and tools to accelerate profitable growth in Services
  • Lead and coordinate the global service engineering teams in matrix

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a suitable engineering field
  • Proven experience in engineering leadership roles, preferably within service-oriented or project-driven businesses
  • Strong track record in developing and implementing engineering strategies and driving change
  • Excellent coordination, stakeholder management, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, global environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Strategic and business mindset with a focus on digital and lifecycle management
  • Experience with resource planning, project management, and customer engagement is highly valued
  • Proficiency in English language
  • Familiarity with global engineering networks and multicultural teams is a plus
