Responsibilities
Lead and further develop service engineering across all disciplines
Secure that the service engineering teams are closely connected to Area sales planning and execution
Serve as the central point of contact for Engineering for Service initiatives, providing hyper care during the transition to the new operational model
Develop and implement engineering strategies in line with PEC Service business objectives focusing on lifecycle management
Coordinate with regional and functional teams to ensure immediate support during the sales phase and throughout the customer journey
Drive smart resource allocation and harmonize operational practices across global teams
Foster a customer-focused mindset in all engineering decisions, deepening customer and technology understanding
Promote knowledge sharing and lessons learned routines to improve pricing management and profitability
Ensure lifecycle thinking is embedded in all engineering activities, from project planning to execution and after-sales support
Unlock business potential by improving the quality and accessibility of installed base data
Support the development of E-2-E Engineering processes and tools to accelerate profitable growth in Services
Lead and coordinate the global service engineering teams in matrix
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a suitable engineering field
Proven experience in engineering leadership roles, preferably within service-oriented or project-driven businesses
Strong track record in developing and implementing engineering strategies and driving change
Excellent coordination, stakeholder management, and communication skills
Ability to work in a dynamic, global environment and manage multiple priorities
Strategic and business mindset with a focus on digital and lifecycle management
Experience with resource planning, project management, and customer engagement is highly valued
Proficiency in English language
Familiarity with global engineering networks and multicultural teams is a plus
