About the role

• Summer Trainee positions in Finance at IONCOR focusing on business control and accounting. Hands-on experience in financial data analysis, reporting and accounts payable.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the business control team in analyzing financial data and preparing reports.
• Assisting with forecasting, Long Range Planning, and variance analysis.
• Collaborating with various departments to gather and validate business insights.
• Having the opportunity to contribute to process improvement initiatives and automation projects.
• Performing versatile ad hoc tasks to support decision-making and strategy execution.
• Assisting in month-end tasks.
• Reconciling accounts and preparing financial statements.
• Preparation in various accounting reports.
• Mainly assisting in processing and verifying invoices in AP team.
• Vendor inquiries and resolving discrepancies.

Requirements

• Ongoing studies in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Fluent spoken and written English is required in all Finance positions.
• Finnish is required in other Finance positions, except not mandatory in the Business Control position.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with other financial tools is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and attention to detail.
