About the role
- Summer Trainee positions in Finance at IONCOR focusing on business control and accounting. Hands-on experience in financial data analysis, reporting and accounts payable.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the business control team in analyzing financial data and preparing reports.
- Assisting with forecasting, Long Range Planning, and variance analysis.
- Collaborating with various departments to gather and validate business insights.
- Having the opportunity to contribute to process improvement initiatives and automation projects.
- Performing versatile ad hoc tasks to support decision-making and strategy execution.
- Assisting in month-end tasks.
- Reconciling accounts and preparing financial statements.
- Preparation in various accounting reports.
- Mainly assisting in processing and verifying invoices in AP team.
- Vendor inquiries and resolving discrepancies.
Requirements
- Ongoing studies in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Fluent spoken and written English is required in all Finance positions.
- Finnish is required in other Finance positions, except not mandatory in the Business Control position.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with other financial tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and attention to detail.
