About the role

• Digital Project Manager at VALID Group overseeing web and IT projects with a focus on stakeholders. Leading project execution while coordinating technical requirements and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Independently plan, manage and coordinate web development projects with a client focus in the energy, industrial, public sector and healthcare domains
• Structured requirements management and development of recommendations for technical solutions (including selection of suitable CMS and technical frameworks)
• Use and further development of our internal AI tools to produce technical concepts and project documentation
• Expert maintenance and support of our content management systems, particularly the current version of TYPO3
• Responsibility for technical project delivery within time and budget constraints, including continuous quality assurance
• Coordination and close collaboration with our teams (web development, design, content) as well as clients and partner agencies to ensure a shared understanding of processes and objectives
• Clear communication of complex technical information to stakeholders with varying levels of technical knowledge, including onboarding and (workshop) training of project participants
• Ensuring accurate and reliable provision of reporting and forecasting data in close coordination with Finance

Requirements

• Degree in a technical or business discipline, IT vocational training, or equivalent qualification
• Strong technical understanding, particularly of content management systems (primarily TYPO3; knowledge of Contao, IBEXA and/or WordPress is desirable)
• Proven experience in technical requirements management and in producing technical concepts
• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in a comparable digital/technical project management role
• Deep expertise in managing and implementing technically complex web projects such as relaunches and platform developments
• Understanding of development processes and tools, web technologies (PHP, Symfony, API architectures, DevOps) and content management systems
• High affinity for and strong knowledge of current internet technologies and AI-assisted tools
• Experience with agile project management methods (Scrum, Kanban) is desirable
• Excellent German and good English skills, both written and spoken.
