About the role

  • Fund Accountant managing the general ledger and net asset value calculations at U.S. Bank while ensuring compliance with SEC regulations and GAAP principles. Partnering with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the general ledger and records of mutual funds and closed-end funds
  • Produce end of day net asset value calculation
  • Prepare daily general ledger accounting, cash reconciliations, and corporate action application
  • Ensure all Fund Accounting functions are in compliance with SEC regulations and GAAP principles
  • Partner with various internal/external administrators, transfer agencies, and prime brokers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience
  • One to two years of experience in accounting or finance activities
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting, reporting, and analysis
  • Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data
  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
