About the role

  • Data Analyst handling big data/analytics projects for U.S. Bank. Integrating data, performing analysis, and providing actionable insights for business decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for working on big data/analytics projects that gather and integrate large volumes of data
  • Performs analysis, interprets results and develops actionable insights and recommendations
  • Acquires data from multiple data sources to perform analysis
  • Identifies, analyzes and interprets trends or patterns in complex data
  • Presents data and analysis clearly for decision making
  • Collaborates with various partners for comprehensive analysis
  • Measures and monitors results of recommendations and presents adjustments
  • Ensures compliance in data acquisition and sharing

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Five to seven years of statistical and/or data analytics experience
  • Expertise with complex SQL queries, including views, stored procedures, and user defined functions
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools like PowerBI or Tableau
  • Working knowledge of analytics and statistical software such as R, Python, SAS, SPSS and others to perform analysis and interpret data
  • Working knowledge of ETL processes and tools such as Alteryx, Airflow, Azure Data Factory etc.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, etc.)
  • Experience in analytics, advanced analytics/statistics, predictive modeling
  • Strong analytic skills with the ability to extract, collect, organize, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
