Senior Product Manager leading the evolution of Retail Allocation Systems for URBN. Bridging stakeholders and technology to enhance global merchandising and planning functions.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary product manager for the module, owning the product roadmap, backlog, and prioritization.
Collaborate with Planning, Allocation, Merchandising, and Supply Chain stakeholders to gather requirements, define user stories, and translate business needs into technical deliverables.
Drive the initial implementation in partnership with o9 and internal technology resources.
Lead the massive change management effort required for o9 adoption, including coordinating testing, training, and documentation.
Provide post-implementation support, triaging issues, managing release cycles, and preventing technical debt to ensure long-term platform sustainability.
Act as the subject matter expert for Allocation & Replenishment capabilities, monitoring product performance, adoption, and business impact.
Build organizational capability to scale o9 across future areas such as Supply Planning, Factory Capacity Planning, and Materials Management.
Proactively explore and champion the use of advanced technologies — including AI and automation — across the full product lifecycle.
Requirements
10+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, or related retail technology roles.
5+ years specifically focused on retail technology, with a deep understanding of planning, allocation, and inventory management processes.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field
Hands-on experience with enterprise planning platforms (o9 preferred; JDA/Blue Yonder, Oracle Retail, Anaplan, or SAP a plus).
Experience in agile delivery methodologies and leading technology projects from conception to implementation.
Excellent ability to collaborate across technical and business teams, translating complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to high-quality solutions that meet strict business requirements.
