About the role

Senior Project Manager overseeing communication and execution of release campaigns for Ventura Records, part of Universal Music. Collaborating with artists and managing project deadlines and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

You will manage communications with artists and artist management regarding artist and release strategies
You will independently plan, execute and oversee release campaigns — both digital and physical
You will monitor and coordinate all release-related deadlines and activities; this includes organizing all relevant release data and registering products in the appropriate internal systems
Administrative tasks such as invoicing and invoice processing, master file organization and delivery, and archiving release masters are also part of your responsibilities
You will coordinate internal stakeholders including A&R, Digital Commercial Partnerships, Digital Concepts & Creation, CRM, Creator Marketing, PR, Physical Sales, D2C, as well as external partners and service providers
You will commission creation of artwork, promotional assets, copy and other promotional materials and ensure their ongoing updates
Your creativity has no limits: from designing an artist’s visual identity in collaboration with artist management, external creatives and internal teams, to organizing and executing video shoots, photo sessions, stylings and artwork design, you will be responsible for the complete product planning and support from master to artwork

You have experience in product marketing — ideally at a music company, creative agency or in a digital environment
You understand digital/online marketing and promotion as well as digital media planning, and can apply communication strategies effectively
You know the dynamics of the streaming world and are confident using tools such as Spotify for Artists, Chartmetric, etc.
You have experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders and work in a structured, independent and goal-oriented way
You are familiar with relevant hip‑hop, R&B and pop scenes — their aesthetics, platforms, communities and codes
You have excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
Strong project management skills and the ability to manage creative processes round out your profile
