- Project Engineer handling bridge design and contract documentation at United Consulting Engineers, Inc. Collaborating with internal departments and ensuring project deadlines are met.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently complete a set of contract documents, including Plans, Specifications, Quantities and Construction Cost Estimate with some direction from the Project Manager
- Conduct meetings, including composing meeting agendas and minutes
- Client contact
- Work and coordinate with other internal departments
- Assist in assembling Supplements, Proposals, and Engineer’s Reports
- Certify Contract Plans and Designs
- Meet deadlines
- Alert Project Team Leader or Project Manager immediately upon realization of a problem on a project
- Maintain the confidentially of information regarding our clients and company practices
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent
- Professional Engineer in State of Indiana, or able to obtain within 12 months
- Not less than 4 years in Structural Engineering
- Bridge design experience preferred.
