Responsibilities
- Oversee the organization's energy management strategy and initiatives on a regional scale
- Drive Energy Roadmap aligned with the organizations’ long-term sustainability targets
- Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency across all Nemak MEX plants
- Develop and implement energy strategies to minimize carbon emissions
- Establish and track KPIs to evaluate energy consumption trends
- Collaborate with various stakeholders and cross-functional teams to foster collaboration
- Manage utility data management system and prepare reports to executive leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability (or related field)
- Minimum 3–4 years in Energy Management, Energy Efficiency Technologies (Preferably aluminum, foundry)
- Certifications: ISO 14001 Expert, ISO 50001 Expert, ISO Lead auditor
- Expertise in air emissions, hazardous substances, risk and impact management
- Strong leadership, Assertiveness, Change Management, problem-solving, and Negotiating
- Advanced English (oral and written)
