About the role
- Actuarial Analyst responsible for developing pricing tables and conducting economic analysis for Unimed. Supporting product expansion and analysis of regulatory impacts in healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for reviewing and developing product tables for Unimed Federação Minas, Unimed Aeromédica and Singulares, including pricing and preparation of Actuarial Technical Notes.
- Perform economic and financial analysis and consolidate data to calculate rates and monitor non-assistance expenses.
- Implement annual product adjustments, provide support to Singulares on ANS regulations, and develop on-demand products to support market expansion.
- Monitor cost, revenue and expense performance; perform actuarial valuations; price and monitor healthcare assistance funds; and analyze technical provisions and regulatory impacts.
- Prepare actuarial newsletters and evaluate portfolios from other operators.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, registered with the IBA (Brazilian Institute of Actuaries)
- Desirable knowledge of statistical software (SPSS, STATA, MINITAB or similar)
- Microsoft Office — advanced Excel
