About the role

Responsibilities
- identify and implement CapEx projects to increase production output and decrease lost time
- prepare and administer annual budget
- develop economic justification for projects
- source and manage contractors
- create and monitor schedules and budgets from kick-off to capitalization
- initiate technical improvements of manufacturing processes
- create Preventative Maintenance plans and LOTO procedures
- assist in implementing Predictive Maintenance programs
Requirements
- strong engineering and project management background
- experience managing capital projects over $100K
- engineering degree is required, P.Eng designation is an asset
- experience in manufacturing with a ‘boots on the floor’ mentality
- excellent computer skills (Microsoft Excel, SmartSheets, AutoCad)
- experience using an ERP System (SAP is a plus)
- strong project management and documentation skills
